Georgia Music Festival I @ 志言智語

After the fantastic Discovery Tour, I went back to school. Everything looks the same in school, or not much difference. Only madrigals got busy schedule. We have a competition on friday, 3/31/06. Practice makes perfact, we try our best.

This competition takes place in Atlanta, Georgia where we need 5 hours driving time. Everyone is so exciting about the competition, because it's not only a competition but a 4-day-trip. I put the stuff I need back to the package which I just used in Discovery Tour, and bring a happy mood. Hello Georgia~

We left school at 6:30 a.m. Everyone was exhausted, because we were too exciting last night. I wanted to sleep, but the TV was on, and I love movies. So the first movie we watched was "The Notebook"(手札情緣), it's a touching story. The second movie was a comedy, "White Chicks"(小姐好白), it's kinda crazy.

After the 5 hours driving, we finally arrived Atlanta, Georgia. The bus stop next to "The Wrold of Coca Cola" where is a Coca Cola museum. I really really want to visit it, but it seemed not much pepole want to go and I had to go with a group, so.........(upset) We went to "UNDERGROUND" and ate lunch, than went to hotel check-in.

Here is a 5-star (I rated it.) hotel. Everything looks elegant and expensive. (I guess that's why the payment for this trip is over 500 dollars for only 4 days.) We waited here and took a rest for few hours, than went to dinner.

The dinner place is really cool. It combined restaurant and theater. And since you go in this theater, you're an actor, and you have a new character. Some of us need to say, and I have to sing.

The drama had 4 acts. Before first act, we had appetizer. After first act, we had soup. Than after second and third was main food and dessert. My character was in a "Gospel" group. We had to sing a familiar song with new lyrics. They picked a familiar song very fast. But, for me, the song was the first time I ever listened.

This morning was very important. And the day was why we come to Georgia. That's right! It's competiton time. We sang 3 songs the same as the adjudication (See Adjudication) and a new song. Our voice was pretty(the judgment said that, too), I believed we did it well.

In the afternoon, we visited the world largest aquarium(同台灣<海洋生態教育館>) where just opened last november. This was the very first time I visited aquarium. We saw a bunch of different underwater animals. I had no time let my eyes take a rest.

Our group dinner tonight was in Hard Rock Cafe. The same as I introduced in New York and Louisville. It's a cool restaurant and they keep playing rock music. Every Hard Rock Cafe has their own collection. This one collected Rod stewart's(洛史都華) guitar and Elton John's(艾爾頓強) cloth and more rock singer's guitars and their significant stuff.

While we were eating, the MTV suddenly played The Village People's most famous song, YMCA. All waiters and customers was getting crazy and dacing.
